THREE YOUTHS IN COURT
CAUSED A DISTURBANCE IN A PICTURE SHOW.
“If you want to make a noise and shout out loud you should get right away and not go to a picture show to do so.” said Mr. W. G. Riddel), S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, yestciday, to three youths, named Si.lais Palmer, i’hillip Pinfold, and James Walshaw, who admitted causing a disturbance by calling out loud in a picture show at Brooklyn. Senior-Sergeant Lander stated that the defendants indulged in a mild form of rowdyism by calling out in regard to a picture lieing shown. As shouting out was far too common action had been taken so as to give warning to others that, the offence was not allowed. Each of the defendants was convicted, and ordered to pay 14s. costs, in default 24 hours’ imprisonment. A week was allowed in which to find the money.
