MISS SUTHERLAND IN MOTOR ACCIDENT Dominion Special. Auckland, November 25. “Tell them all in Wellington that we will be back with them on Monday morning and that we are just dying to see them all again,” thus Miss Doreen McCubbin and Miss Isobel Wilson, the two Wellington beauties, who will leave on Sunday night with the rest of the party on’ their way home. Both girls state’ that they have had a wonderful time here, but are longing to be home again. Miss Wilson will take back to Wellington the honour of being attendant to “Miss New Zealand,” while Miss McCubbin will leave knowing that she has charmed Auckland with her beauty (.nd happy personality and that she has, with Miss Wilson, worthily represented her home town here. “Miss New Zealand” will rlso arrive in Wellington on Monday. All the finalists were accorded another fine reception to-night at the Majestic Theatre, when each was given an individual ovation. "Miss Auckland” had a narrow escape from serious injury this afternoon. A car bearing Miss Sutherland was turning across Queen Street when it was struck by a tram. The car was badly smashed, but Miss Sutherland escaped with a severe shaking. The driver suffered a cut on the head. Miss Sutherland was able to appear at the Majestic Theatre to-night.
