The total amount of money raised was -£921. It is anticipated that over X‘9oo will be profit. The three candidates were each presented with a bouquet and bowed their acknowledgment to tha audience amidst prolonged applause. Mr. J. K. Hornblow returned thanks on liehalf of the candidates and congratulated the qneeu committees on their energies and the success of the carnival. The coronation ceremony will be held in the new Town Hall on December 9.
