The spirit of carnival will hold sway at the A. and I’. Association's buildings, Palmerston North, to-day and for the next two days, when a fair is to be conducted in aid of the funds of All Saints' Church. The interest which is being taken in the event is evidenced bv the fact that eighteen teams have filtered for the tug-of-war contest, for which valuable prizes will be awarded The other attractions are many and varied, and there should be a large patronage of the public.
