EXPECTED TO BE LARGEST IN HISTORY.

New York, November 22. The Department of Agriculture forecasts that the cotton crop will be 18,399,000 bales, which is the largest in history, and even heavier than was expected. After this announcement prices dropped 15 to 20 points on the New Orleans market, while the prices on the New York market declined .9 to 11 points. There has been a considerable liquidation by recent buyers.
