IN GARIBALDI CASE
SUPPOSED TO HAVE GIVEN WARNING OF PLOT (Rec. November 23, 7.20 p.m.) Paris, November 22.
The inevitable woman in the case has appeared in the Ricciotti Garibaldi prosecution. She is Madame Della .Rosa, who has been living as Garibaldi’s wife for the past ten years, but is really the undivorced wife of Della Rosa, secretary of the Spanish Republican Lerroux.' The latter was recently arrested bv General Deriver.i, but was arrested by General De Rivera, but was searched the woman’s house and found missing letters to Garibaldi from Zaniboni. It is expected that the woman will be examined shortly. It is also rumoured that she has been playing her own hand, not merely assisting Garibaldi, and that she really has been in constant communication with Della Rosa. It is also suggested that , she warned the French police of the Catalonian plot.
