BURGLARS AT WORK

C. AND A. ODLIN’S OFFICES

ENTERED.

By Telecbaph -,’h ts>-« Auckland, November 23.

Explosives were successfully but unprofitably used on a safe in the office of C. and A. Odlin Timber Company, Limited, ’in Otahuhu, on Monday evening. As in numerous recent instances of safe blowing, explosions were heard bv residents in the vicinity. 'l'he thieves effected an entry through a window, and apparently used two charges of explosive. One was applied to the door of the safe, and, following its opening, a second charge was used to open the cash drawer. The burglars obtained nothing for their pains.
