WELLINGTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL
The monthly meeting of the Board of Governors of the Technical College was held last evening, Mr. W. 11. Bennett in the chair. The new workshops will be opened by the Minister of Education on December
8. Regarding the delay in the completion of the workshops the chairman intimated that the Public Works Department was now pushing on the electrical work in view of the official opening. Mi forsvth reported that a deputation had waited on the Minister of Eduration respecting a grant towards the better payment of the instructors in .he commercial classes, ant had received a promise that (he matter would lie looked into. The board passed a. resolution of sympathv >especting the death of Mr. F. Picani, who, the chairman remarked, had always taken a deep interest in technical education. ...
