FIRE ON RIMUTAKA

EXTINGUISHED AFTER MUCH DAMAGE TO CARGO. London, November 21. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rimutaka has sent a wireless message, via Balboa, that she had a fire in the 'tween decks on November 5. It was extinguished after considerable damage to the cargo and insu’a’ion, part of which was jettisoned. [The Rimutaka left Auckland on October 26 for London, with a cargo of New Zealand products.]
