CONVERSION OF IRON INTO STEEL
GERMAN DYE TRUST PATENTING NEW PROCESS.
Berlin, November 21. The German Dye Trust is patenting a process for chemically converting iron into steel, which will be cheaper, harder, and more elastic as well as being freer from impurities than is the case with the usual methods of smelting. It is hoped to ensure Germany dominating the position on the world’s n arl-.ct by means of the new method.
