TIIE TREGF.NNA. Mr. W. Wallis advises that the A. and A. Line steamer Trcgenna. which arrived at Auckland at 1.50 p.m. on Saturday from New York, will leave the northern port ’'to-morrow for Wellington. She is expected here on Friday alternoon.

COLAC REPORTED. The New Zealand Shipping Company received a wireless message yesterday from tlie Colac. en route from Sydney (Cape Breton), Montreal, and Newport News, stating that the vessel will arrive at .Auckland to-day. The vessel is due at Wellington about next Tuesday.

MAMARI TO LOAD. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company report that the Mamari is due at Wellington at 6 o’clock this evening from Newcastle, to commence loading here for London. The vessel will leave Wellington on Thursday evening far further loading at. Timaru and Bluff, returning thence to Wellington, where she is due bjick on December 5. Tile Mamari will leave Wellington again on December 10 for Port Chalmers, to fill up. ■ nd is to leave there on December 17 for London, via the Cape Horn route.

THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish will now leave Wellington this afternoon for Lyttelton, Timaru. and Dunedin, to complete discharge of her Montreal cargo, and to load for New York. Boston, and Halifax NEWS FROM RUAPEHU.

A wireless message was received yesterday by tho New Zealand Shipping Company from the Ruapehu, which left Auckland last Wednesday .or Home, reporting: "Fine weather. All well.”

lONIO LEAVES COLON. Cabled news has been received bj’ the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the lonic left Colon on 3'hursday evening for Southampton and London, en route from 'Auckland. The vessel left Auckland on October 27.

TAHITI. FROM SAN FRANCISCO. Tile Union Company’s H.M.S. Tahiti arrived in the stream at 5.20 a.m. yesterday from San Francisco Papeete, and Rarotonga, and berthed ft No. 1 north Queen’s Wharf shortly before 9 a.m. The Tahiti left San Francisco at 11 p.m. on November 3, with a full passenger list, mails, and a large cargo of general merchandise. Fine weather and smooth seas were experienced all the way to Papeete, where the ship arrived at 8 a.m. on November 13 On berthing.'a few passengers disembarked, end a large amount of cargo was discharged. The voyage was resumed at 7 p.m. on the same date, and the Tahiti arrived at Rarotonga at 10 am. on November 15. A little general cargo was discharged and a cargo of fruit was shipped. The vessel sailed again nt midnight the same day. A slight swell, which increased somewhat during the last couple of days, was experienced. with cold weather and a little rain, on the run to Wellington. The Tahiti is timed to sail from Wellington at 8 o’clock to-night for Sydney. MISCELLANEOUS. The Tainui is to leave Dunedin to-day for Lyttelton, to unload the remainder of her London cargo. The Riiahino was to sail from Timaru at midnight last night for Lyttelton. The Union Company’s ex-passenger steamer Monowai, now dismantled, arrived at Gisborne yesterday morning in tow’ of the Katoa. The Waipiata will dear Auckland on Thursday for Wellington .nd southern ports. Tlie Katoa will load cement at Portland on Thursday for Wellington and Lyttelton. Thu Kurow was expected ’o clear Dun edin last night for Wellington and Auckland, via ports. The Kaimai will le-lve Wellington to morrow for Greymouth, to oad for this port.

The Breeze will load i.-t Dunedin tomorrow via ports, for Wellington and Wanganui, and is due here on Saturday. The Calm will load at Bluff to-morrow, via ports, for Wellington and Wanganui, and is due here on Sunday. The John, from Bluff, via ports, is due at Wellington on Friday and will leave later in the day for AVanganui and New Plymouth. The Progress, due from T’maru and Lyttelton to-morrow, will go on to Wall (pin ui, New Plyn)outh. and Fort Waikato. I

NEW ZEALAND NAUTICAL ALMANAC FDR 1527.

The Marine Department advises that the Nautical Almanac and Tide Tables for the year 1927 will be published on December 1. 1926. The contents of tills publication embrace the necessary, astronomical ephemeris used in navigation and nautical astronomy, the more important astronomical pheuometia, etc., for 1926, and some useful nautical tables. Tlie principal ports of tlie Dominion are described from latest information, which has been revised by the several harbour authorities; and some plans of harbours and berthage accommodation are given. Tide tables giving daily times of high and low water and their heights are provided lor tlie ports of Auckland. Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton. Wellington, and Westport. Also time differences, by tlie application of which the ipproxiinate times of high nnd low water at various places within the Dominion may be obtained. Tidal-stream predictions, showing the approximate times when the streams are slack at Tory Channel and at French Pass are given for each tide throughout tlie year. The book contains courses and distances between the main ports within New Zealand; magnetic variation throughout the Dominion for Hie year 1928; a catalogue of tlie several Admiralty ehart*. of this Dominion’s eoasts, etc., showing the last year of correction: Dominion time service for chrononictcr-rating purposes; Dominion standard tune, gencr.’il harooiir and storm signals; general information of use to navigators nnd others; a list of Customs controlling ports; railway distances and a map of New Zealand; and important polices to mariners issued by the Imperial Board of Trade
