MILITARY TOURNAMENT
R.S.A. QUEEN COMMITTEE A meeting was held in the U.S.A, rooms last night with the object of forming a committee to work for the returned soldiers’ queen candidate, *ivho is to stand at the Grand . Naval and Military Tournament and Searchlight Tattoo, to be held in March. Mr. Maule (chairman), said that as the association was to gain such a finan e.ial adantage, it behoved them to work hard for the success of their candidate He outlined the programme of Iho tournament, which is to be on a scale never before attempted in New Zealand
Two sub-committecs were set nr; an entertainment committee, consisting mainly of the lady workers, and a publicity committee. the work of which will be in tho hands of the men. The name of their candidate, who is to represent ’’argaret of Anjou, will be announced later.
