A picturesque camping spot at Kowhai Flat about seven miles from Toknanu nnd on the banks of the Tongariro River has been selected as the trout fishing rendesvous for the Duke and Duchess of York. Mr. A. H. Messenger. Government Publicity Officer, left Auckland for Taupo on Saturday to make the necessary arrangements. Kowhai Flat is off the main TokannuWaimarino Road and those who have visited the spot state it provides an ideal camping ground.
