The Kiwitea County Council Isas decided to wholeheartedly support a Do-minion-wide recommendation to the Government to re-enact permanent legistion in regard to the assessments of standing timber, the revenue of which is likely to be effected by the proposed amendments to the Valuation of Lands There are indications throughout this district that more land is being put under cultivation this year than usual.
