VISITS TO NUMEROUS WORKS

Mr. Coates will leave London on November ‘23, and receive the freedom of Edinburgh and an honorary university degree the following day. He will attend a municipal reception and university dinner, and inspect the North British Locomotive Works and Beardmore and Co.’s and Arrol and Co.’s works at Glasgow on November 25. He will return to London on November 26, and receive the freedom of Stoke-on-Trent and inspect the potteries on November 29. He will receive the freedom of Sheffield and visit Brown and Bayley's, Vickers’s and Hadfield’s works on November 30. On December 1, he will visit the Kidderminster carpet factories. Later he will tour the New Zealand battlefields in France.
