KAPOC ON FIRE

Palmerston North, November 19. The number of small outbreaks of fire to which the brigade has been called ' during the last few weeks was added to this afternoon, when nt 5 30 a blaze occurred at the rear of Mr. Andrews’s furniture shop in Rnngitikei Street. The brigade found that a quantity of kapoc had caught alight. One lead of hose was sufficient to quell the flames.
