ROSE SHOW

The annual rose show of the Wellington Horticultural Society will be lield in tlie Town Hall on Tuesday next, when a very fine display of new and beautiful roses will be staged. As the season for roses this vear has been a pood one, visitors are promised some of the finest blooms that have ever been exhibited at this society’s shows. A large number of excellent trophies will be competed for, which will make the competition between the various affiliated societies more than usually keen. Pansies have also come to be quite a feature of the Rose Show, and here again the blooms this vear will, it is slated, be most attractive. The show will be opened at 3 p.m. by His Worship the Mavor.
