Black, Jenkinson, and Andrews. The invitation to the council from the Lower Hutt Borough Council to bo present at the opening of the Riddiford Baths on Friday next was accepted Necessary consent to the running of the Eastbourne motor-bus service by the council was sent by the Hutt County Council and the Wellington City Council.

The Mayor is to confer with the Petone borough inspector regarding the advisability of diverting a portion of the traffic along the Esplanade instead of through (he main street.

The Marine Department notified that permission had been granted fir the Duchess Io make a special trip 1 etween Wellington and Bona Bay, via Petone, on New dear’s Day to convey members of the District Lodge 1.0.0. F. It was reported that the Muriiai would be placed in commission on December 1.
