WELLINGTON CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY MRS. WESTON Airs. Weston won the final of the Wellington Ladies’ Golf Chib championship at Heretaunga yesterday aitemoon, heating Mrs. Sclanders in an up and down encounter, which went to the twentieth hole. Airs. Weston took a brassie for her second at the eighteenth, being then one up, and hooked badly’ into the bunker. She took three strokes to get out, Mrs. Salanders squarred the match, getting a bogey 5. The nineteenth was halved in s’s. ' Mrs. Weston’s long game wavs superior throughout, but on *the green Mrs. Sclanders usually held the advantage. In the semi-finals. Mrs. Weston beat Mrs. Marchbanks. 4 and 3; and Mrs. Sclanders beat Airs. Stout. 4 and 3. Miss Dyer won the junior division, beating Afiss B. Marchbanks, 4 and 3.
