BOROUGH OFFICE METHODS

COUNCIL TO HOLD INQUIRY Palmerston No/tli, November 18. Following the decision of the Borough Council at its latest meeting to hold a further inquiry into the system of administration in force at the borough offices, consequent upon the recent court case concerning the loss of £220, the matter will be further considered on Monday night. On that date the Public Works Committee, winch comprises the whole council,. will meet to transact its ordinary business, and in addition will question the borough officials on the matter. The inquiry will be a private one, but the result will be presented in open council at the next regular meeting.
