TOWN AND COUNTRY. Miss P. Abraham, of Palmerston North, is spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs. R. Ashworth, at le Khiti. , Mr. and Mrs. H. G Shakes, of Feilding, .have returned from a visit, to Christchurch. Miss E. Ward, of Hamilton, is staying with Mrs, G. Bagnall in Palmerston North. . , Mr and Mrs. O. Monrad, of Palmerston North, left this week for a holiday in Rotorua. Mrs. G Haggitt has returned to Palmerston North after a week s holiday in Masterton. Miss M. Fitzberbert, of Palmerston North, is spending a few days, at Paekstcsrikia Mr. and Mrs. H-. A. Hampton, of Auckland, are at present visiting Wanganui. Mrs. Brausgrove, of Dunedin, has been staving with her son Dr. Bransgrove of Palmerston North. . Mis's C. Fitzherbert, of Hokowbitu (Palmerston North) is in Wanganui for a few days. If time will permit, Madame and Mr. Menere, the well-known .or merchants intend visiting Alaska this year.' They are at present id London making purchases of the latest in furs with winch they will return to New Zealand early next year.—Advt.
