ST. JOHN’S CHURCH VACANCY
AUSTRALIAN MINISTER NOMINATED It is hoped that the ministerial charge of St. John’s Presbyterian Church Wellington, which lias been vacant owing to the retirement of the Rev. Dr. Gibb, will shortly be filled At a meeting of the congregation held last evening it was decided to send a call in connection with the vacant pastorate to the Rev. J. R. Blanchard, 8.A., of Perth, Western Australia. Messrs. M D. Menelaus, W. Flopkirk, and A. FI. Wallace were appointed to sustain the call before the Wellington Presbvtery, which, if agreed to, will be forwarded to the Rev. Blanchard through the Perth Presbytery. The call will not be dispatched at once, but will remain at St. John’s Church for the next three Sundays for the signature of church member's.’
