SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
Tuesday’s concert at the bailors’ Friend Society was a most enjoyable cue. Tt was given by tho members <f (he Constable Street Church, known as the Frivolities, under the guidance c.f Mrs. Bothwek. The performers were Mrs. Painter, Misses I. Wrigley, Thora Butters Painter, S. Beere, A. Murray, and Messrs. C. Gaunt, Painter. Smith. H. Painter. Miss Thelma Butters was nt tho piano. “Can you prove it? was the title of Mr. James Moore’s temperance address and pledges were added Io the book. The competitions aroused much interest and the prizes came from Mrs. W. Flanagan.
