BURGLARIES IN BOOT STORES

CAREFUL SELECTION MADE Dominion Special. Auckland, November 16. Several burglaries in boot stores have been reported to the police lately, and in each case the thieves have shown discrimination in the selection of certain sizes of footwear, which suggests that the goods are intended for per sonal use rather than for sale. Another such theft was added to the list during the week-end, when the boot factory of Swinton and Oates, in Newton, was entered and a careful selection made from the stock.
