The largest butter churn in New Zealand and, it is stated, the largest in the world, has recently been installed in the To Puke factory of the Bay of Plenty Co-operative Dairy Association (states an exchange). The now churn is n huge piece of mechanism, which turns out 16001 b. of hotter in a single chnrniny enough to fill 82 boxes. The machine in the Dominion which has the next largest capacity can turn out about 10 hose-. The new machine does the work of three ordinary machines in one churning, nnd the operation takes approximately the sajno time.
