THREE MEN REMANDED TO WELLINGTON.

Dominion Special.

Palmerston North, November 15. Before the presiding Justices of the Peace in the Magistrate’s Court this morning Albert J. Olsen, Edward May, and Eric Jones, described as barman, labourer, and salesman respectively, were charged conjointly with breaking and entering on November 9 the dwellinghouse at Wellington of Samuel Treister, and stealing therefrom goods to the value of £209 6s. Bd. Jones was also charged separately with receiving from Olsen on November 13 a quantity of goods, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. On the application of Detective-Ser-geant Quirke, the three accused were remanded to appear at Wellington on November 23.
