Dunedin, November Henry John Ewington Bell was adjudged'bankrupt on November 1 last. He is now in Sydney where he went early this year. He had i me ment with two sawmilling firms where bv he sold for them timber valued by them at £655. They did «°t money, and an attempt was made to find Bell, who it was found had left the country. A meeting of was called for to-day, but it was allowed to stand over, as nothing could be done till word came from the Sydnej assignee with whom the Dunedin cial Assignee was in touch.
