WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
THREE INJURED AT WHANGAREI. ■ By Telegraph; • Press association Whangarei, November 15. David Gardiner, five years of age, fell from a delivery van at Whangaici on Saturday and fractured the base of the skull. Miriam Sword fell from a motorbicycle when pillion-riding on Sunday at Whangarei. Her skirt caught the spokes of a wheel and she was whirled round several times. Miss Sword was taken to hospital with a fracture at the base of the skull. William Regan, a motor-cyclist, swerved to avoid a motor-car near Waiotira, fell, and broke a leg. He lay ou the side of the road for two hours until picked up and taken to Whangarei Hospital. The occupants of the car were unaware of tiie ar cident
