INTER-COLLEGE SPORTS

RECORDS GO BY THE BOARD McEVEDY SHIELD TO . WELLINGTON SOME FINE PERFORMANCES Records equalled, and in several cases broken, marked the fifth annual sports meeting of the Wellington Secondary Schaols’ Association at Athletic Park on Saturday. Intermittent showers of rain overnight did not leave the track in the best of condition, but this was more or less compensated for by the favourable direction of the wind.

Wellington, St. Patrick’s, Technical, Scots, and Wellesley Colleges, as well as Waiwupa and Hutt Valley High Schools were strongly represented.
