SPOUTS. AT SCUTS COLLEGE. There was a keen wind and a rather soft track at Scots College on Saturday when the annual sports meeting of the Wellington Boys’ Institute was held. Nevertheless, some very promising form was displayed. The following are the results of the events fun off: —100yds Championship: Mastern. 1: Kidd ami Blewct, 2 (dead heat); time, 15-ec. Throwing cricket ball, junior championship: Brewer, 130 ft., 1; l oot head, 126 ft., 2; M. Kidd, 103 ft., 3. 100yds. Intermediate Championship: Murphy, 1; Kidd. 2; Soloman, 3. Time, I3sec. Throwing cricket ball, intermediate championship: Saunders, 161 ft., 1; Soloman, 153 ft., 2; Willis, 145 ft., 3. 220yds. Junior Championship: Brewer, 1; Kidd, 2; Brockie, 3; time, 35 4-ssec. 100yds. Senior Championship: Kidd, 1; McNair. 2; Webb, 3. Time, 12sec. High jump, junior championship: Maslem, 1; Arkinstall, 2; Kidd, 3. High Jump, intermediate championship: Murphy, 4ft. 4in., I; Soloman, 4ft. lin., 2; Simons, 4ft., 3. High jump, senior championship: Kidd, 4ft. Bin., 1; Webb, 2. Throwing cricket ball, senior championship: Clark, 181 ft., 1; McNair, 2; Kidd, 3. 440yds. Senior championship: Kidd. I; McNair, 2; Eraser, 3; time, G3sec. 440yds. Junior Championship: Brewer, 1; Maslem, 2; Kidd, 3: time. 82 1-ssec. 440yds. Intermediate Championship: Murphy, 1; Solomon, 2; McNair, 3; time, 75scc. 220yds. Senior Championship: Kidd, 1; McNair, 2; Clark, 3: time, 25 1-5-ec. The Senior Challenge Cup was won by It, Kidd, with 21 points, with McNair second with 12 points, and Clark third with 6 points. Other scorers were: Webb 4, Eraser 1. „ The Intermediate Challenge, Cup was won' by Murphy with 15 points, with Soloman second with 10 points. ami Saunders third with. 5 points. Other scorers were: F. Kidd, 3; Willis, Simons, and McNair, 1 each. ■ The Junior Challenge Cup was won by Brewer with 18 points, Maslem second with 13 points, and Kidd third with J points. Others who scored points were: Foothead 3, Arkinstall 3, and Brockie 1.
