Pukekohe, November 12. Au 1 accident occurred at Suicide -Point, Hunua Gorge, near Papakura,-just before noon to-day to a party m a car containing Mr. J. N- Anderson, assistant engineer for the Franklin County Council; Pukekohe; Mr. V. R. Soper, a carrier, of Papakura; Mr. Cliff Boss, a fanner, and Mr. Vales. They were inspecting the huge slip in the gorge when the’ vehicle turned round • for" some' unaocountable reason,' and fell over the treacherous cliff. Mr.'Soper suffered an injury to his back. Tho_ others had & miraculous escape,’ suffering cuts and bruises. The car was badly damaged.
