LAST MONTH’S FIGURES FURTHER DECREASE-IN EXPORTS London, November 11. Returns of British trade for the month of October show that imports increased by £2,178,000. Exports decreased bv £13,905,000, and re-exports by £3,016’000. The principal increases in imports were coal, £7,720,000; iron and steel manufactures, £1,090,000; oils and fats (manufactured), £1,545,000. The chief decreases in imports were: Grain and flour, £2,581,000; raw cotton, £4,421,000. In exports the principal decreases were: Coal, £4,015,000; iron and steel manufactures, £2,193,000; cotton and yarns (manufactured), £4,172,000.
