A meeting of A.S R.S. members at Wanganui on Thursday unanimously approved tlie candidature of Mr. L. McIlvride, ex-M.P., for the position of general secretary of the A.S.R.S.— Press Association. The Citv Council has granted the use of the Basin Reserve to the Wellington Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A. for the purpose of a sports meeting- on November 27.
