CHURCH SERVICES
At St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Willis Street, to-morrow,- the morning service will bo conducted by the Rev. G. H. McNeur, the Moderator of the General Assembly. His 1 subject will be “A Page From China’s Church History.” In the evening the Rev. P. -Gladstone Il uglies, of Tima ru, will speak on "The Two Voices.” Tlie morning anthem will be “Lift Up Your Hearts,” and in the evening “Head of Thy Church Triumphant’’ will be rendered. Tho Rev. Clarence Eaton will preach at the morning service at the Terrace Congregational Church to-morrow, while in the evening the Rev. Ernest R. Weeks will preach on "The Secret of Glad Living.’’ At the evening service Mr.' Len Barnes will sing "Whosoever Drinketh" (Bennett), and the choir will render the anthem, "The Pilgrim" (Lindsay).- The Communion of the Lord’s Supper will follow the evening service. To-morrow morning, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, the Terrace, the Rev. E. N. Merrington will preach on ”A Changed Personality," and in the evening "God’s 1 Clarion Call’’ will be the subject of the Rev. F. Barton. The Holy Eucharist’ will be celebrated ‘ the Church of St. Alban, 19 Marion Street, at 11 : a.m. to-morrow morning.
Sunday School anniversary services will be held in the Vivian Street Baptist Church to-morrow. The children, assisted by* the choir, will sing special hymns and anthems, and the preachers for the day will be: Morning, Rev. R. .1. Howie, of St. Andrew’s Church; afternoon, Rev. Clarence Eaton, the Methodist Church; evening, Rev. F. E. H At y 'the Weslev Methodist CliurcH, Taranaki Street, to-morrow morning, the Rev. P. B. Lawrence will preach. A voting people’s service will be held in. the evening, when the Rev. E. P. Blamires, of the young people’s department, will occupy the pulpit. The anthem in the evening will be "Do Not 1 Fill Heaven and Earth?” (Blair). Morning and evening services will be held at the Sailors’ I* riend SocietyChurch and Institute, Whitmore Street, to-morrow, the missioner, Mr. James Moore, preaching at both. In the mornin" his subject will be, "Is It Impossible to Make the Best of Both World; ? and in the evening it will be, The key Word That Does It.” Song service, the orchestra leading, will be held at 8.30 P A Christadelphian meeting will be held in the Victoria Hall. Adelaide Road, tomorrow evening, at 7 p-m. Iho subject will be, “A Contrast: The Church and the Bible.” Everyone is cordiaßy invited to come and hear the evidence Mnraiiatha Hall services will he held at 125 Lambton Quay (over A.B.C. Garage). Gospel service will be at -.45 p.m., the. speaker being Rev. E.
