DRUG TRAFFIC IN EGYPT
Cairo, November 10. There has been an enormous increase in the drug traffic in Egypt. In 1025 there were 5600 individuals prosecuted. Arrests in Cairo average GO weeklv. The Police Commandant, Russell Pasha,, proposes to ask the Government to add flogging to the punishment. He thinks that thirtv lashes with the cat-o’-nine-ttfll'wtiH'ltt a wholesome deterrent.'
