The Reserves Committee recommended to the City Council last night that the Hospital Board be requested to contribute half the cost of the levelling of the sandhills nt l.vall Bav. which was done l»v unemnloved "B” class men. the total cost of the work being £1095 17s. 3d. The reeomiueudatiou was agreed to.
