The Rugby League Council has deferred the questions of playing the New Zealand team in Paris, and the proposed match at the Crystal Palace. The president, in a statement regarding a conference with the New Zealand Council, confirmed the decision to send the visitors home via Panama. They will probably sail on January 28 CANCELLED MATCH London, November 10. Owing to the industrial depression, Featherstone, a Yorkshire mining town, which has been losing money oyer football fixtures, has cancelled its match with the New Zealand League team, as there is no prospect of a profit being made.
