WELLINGTON REGATTA CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The Wellington Regatta. Club held its annual meeting in the Star Boating Club rooms last evening, a large number being present. Referring to the statement of receipts and payments, the annual report and balance-sheet showed that after paying all accounts the twelve months ended with an overdraft of £34. This was probably due to the club having to transfer their regatta tn Petbne. losing tiie revenue usually derived from the wiiarf and steamer. From a rowing point of view, however, the regatta had been a great success. It was moved during the meeting that the committee be asked to recommend tliis year’s regatta to take place on FebrUThe election of officers resulted in flic following being appointed for the year: Vice-presidents, Hon.
