* SNOWFALL IN BACK COUNTRY. Bt Telegraph-—Press Association. Christchurch. May -1. Heavy rain from the south-west set in early this morning, and continued without a break until early this a.teruoon. A total of 1.1-1 inches had fallen up to noon. The fall in temperature has been considerable, and a fairly heaxy fall of snow is reported from the back C °Part'of the township of Little River, which suffered in the recent flood, is again flooded
