New clubs had been formed at Palmerston North, JJ.awera, Now Plymouth, mid Oamaru. During the year Lite principal activities o. the club were the arranging of a special Sunday ior boys, entertaining members of- 'the Headmasters’ Association, Boy Scouts’ Association, and Sunday school teachers and superintendents ut luncheon; regular visits to the various boys' institutions, and rallies oi the Boy Scouts; donated" the sum of £350 to the IVelliugton Boy Scouts; extended its patronage to the meetings of theN.Z. Amateur Athletic Association; set up a special committee to supervise and carry out a housing schen.f)" set up a special committee to remove all financial embarrassment from the AVellington Plunket Society. The financial statement was -.-ntaely satisfactory. The sum of £69 os. lid. was added to the accumulated fund. The balance of activities’ fund increased from £l5 16s. Bd. to £213 ss. 3d., mainly through the generosity of members with regard to donations for conterence exnenses. Rotarian C. J. P. Norwood stated that the directors of the club would have to seriously consider, in. view of his election to the Alayoralty of AVellington,, tho advisability of his relinquishing the commissionerslrip of Rotary on account of the tremendous jmount of travelling about and work it involved. He felt sure that there were Rotarians in the club of a proved capacity who would fill that "office splendidly. Rotorian Goldberg said it was hoped to eoplete this year the £l2OO promised for the Bov Scouts. Tho following officers and directors were elected for tho ensuing year: — President, Rotarian Dr. Herbert’; vicepresident, Rotarian E. W. Hunt; lion, treasurer, Rotarian G. B. (lull; ser-geaut-ilf-arms Rotarian M. E. Denniston; hen. secretary, Rotarian H. Amos. Directors, Rotorians H. G. Teagie, D. S Smith, AV. D. Hunt, S. Kirkcaldie, G. A. Troup,, D. J. McGowan.
