Many bankers and business men think that American participation in the scheme for tho liquidation of international debts is inevitable. Timo must be given for the education of the American public, which regards the loans to Europe as assets for the relief of taxation, failing to see that America will gain more from relieving Europe than receiving payment of tho debts.—Aus.N.Z.
