MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB.

The first annual field day of tho Mas-terton-Opaki Rifle Club was held on Saturday. Despite a slight “fish-tail” wind the weather did not interfere with tho shooting, and for the first time in ten years it was possible to shoot from all ranges. Following are tho results:— Short range aggregate, without handicap— Rflmn. 11. H. Donald, 92 points. Short range aggregate., with handicap— Rflmn. George Hood, 92 points. Long range aggregate, without handicap —Rflmn. George Hyde, 96 points. Long range aggregate, with handicap —J. E. MeV. Calwell, 87 points. All ranges, without handicap—Rflmn. Georgo Hyde, 184 points. Long ranges, with handicap—J. E. MeV. Calwell, 174 points. SHORT RANGES COMPETITION. (Seven shots at each.) 300 500 600
