SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

The popular programme provided by Miss V. Mueller for her seafaring guests on Tuesday at tho Sailors’ Friend Society was enjoyed to the full by tho audience. The performers were: Mesdames Vare and Goldsmith, and Misses M. Troon, James, M. Ormond, and Mrs. Beckford. Booth, McDonald, Shields, Macferson. Mrs. Vare was at the piano. Mr. Afoore, missioner, spoke on “Money Talks,” and urged men to think how it talked. Tho competitions again caused much amusement, tho prizes being donated by Mrs. Stylos and Misses Mueller, Ramsey, Dalgiesh, and Byams, and going to the Matakana and Amokura.
