LOAN BILL

FIVE MILLIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS NO IMMEDIATE BORROWING A new Loan Bill, to authorise the borrowing of £5,000,000 for the purposes of public works, was introduced by ViceRegal Message yesterday. The Prime Minister explained that the money would be raised abroad. He did not propose to raise it right away, but it would be required long before Parliament would meet again, and the Government was asking for authority accordingly.
