' The annual meeting of shareholders in the Union Steam Shin Company was hold this afternoon, when a final dividend of 22 per cent, was declared on preference shares, making 51 per cent, for tho year. I! was regretted that the unsatisfactory results of the year’s working did not 'warrant, the payment of a further dividend on ordinary shares.
