Hill (New Brighton), 26min., 6hr. 14min. 11 l-ssec. 4; Howell (Oxford), oflmm., Bhr 42min. Isec., 5. The. finish was exciting Sutton won by six lengths, and O’Sh°ea beat Hill by half a length for tl O’Shelr who made the fastest time, secured the New Zealand road championship The second fastest time was made by F.
