STRIKE AT JOHANNESBURG CROWN MINES
WHITE WORKERS "OUT.” Cape Town, November 25. In consequence of the dismissal of a “shift boss” a thousand white miners have ceased work at the Johannesbuig Crown mines. Fourteen thousand natives are affected. The pump men have also been withdrawn. The management has notified the strikers that "unless work is resumed on Monday all the other workers will bo discharged and the mines will be closed down. Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
