MO were placed in the Wanganui River, near Taumarunui, 20,000 in the Waimea River, 10,000 at Ongarue, 19.000 at T» Kuiti, 7500 at Puketiltu, 5000 at’ Kopaki, 7500 at Miamiha, 15.000 at Puta-. ruru, 30,000 at Te Awamutu and Tapakura. 40,000 at Mangatawhiti, 25,000 at Matamata, 15,000 at Pukekohe, 5000 each at Waiuku and Miranda, 15,000 in the Waikato River, 30,000 at Otcrohanga, 25,000 at Hamilton, 5000 at Morrinsvillo, Patetonga, Ngaruawahia, and Bucklands, CO,OOO at Thames, 15,000 each at Pacroa and Cambridge, 19,000 at Waihi, Ohinewai and OHura each received 10,000, and Mangatapu and Opnrau were allotted 2000 and 4000 respectively.
