MAGISTRATE’S COURT
ALLEGED THEFT OF JEWELLERY The police business in Ore (Magistrate’s Court yesterday was dealt with by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. George Baker was remanded to November 16 on a charge of having received from some person four motor tires, valued at .£3O, the property of the Union Company, the same having been previously stolen. On a charge of having stolen at Wanganui jewellery to tho value of .£(10, the property of the Government, Dennis Freedman was remanded to appear on Monday next. David Thomas, who was arrested on Tuesday, was charged with stealing a quantity of clothing, valued at -£5 10s., the property of Harry Smith, and wav remanded to Friday.
