NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL’S ANNUAL MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, October 28. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council, Mr. E. Heathcote Williams presiding, the following officers wero elected: —I’atron, the Gover-nor-General, lord Jkillicoe; .pi'fesidcnt, Mr. E. H. Williams (Hastings); vicepresidents, the presidents, affiliated associations; management committee, Messi's. F. C. Raphael, J. S. Barrett, S. F. Wilson, E. 11. Caygill, and D. Reese; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. H. Winson; lion, secretary, Mr. J. F. Peake. In reply to the Otago Association’s I'equest for a share of the profits of the Australian team’s tour, it was decided to point out that tho money was being retained bj r the council as t'lie nucleus capital of a reserve fund. It was agreed that it be a recommendation to the management committee to favourably consider the question of establishing a fixed programme for the next three or four years, and that matches bo arranged as f0110w192L22 season: Australian team be asked to visit New Zealand; 1922-23, a New Zealand team to visit Australia; 1923-24, an English team to visit New Zealand; 1924-25, a New Zealand team to visit England, and that tho committee be also requested to consider tho possibilities of visits to and from South Africa. It was further resolved to recommend the conunittoa to consider the appointment of representatives of New Zealand and Australia. Ttlw, matter jot the North versus South Island match was left in the hands of the management committee.
